INSTALLATION

  1. Place the heater tube unit in a vertical position in the water, then press the two suction cups against the glass firmly to adhere to the aquarium. For best results, position the heater fairly deep where the water can be circulated strongly and freely (horizontal position is fine).
  2. Set the desired temperature by turning the temperature control dial. Then wait a few minutes until the heater tube is acclimatized to the aquarium water temperature.
  3. Plug the power cord of the heater to the receptacle pilot light will be ON or OFF. ON indicates the heater is working to maintain setting temperature. OFF indicated the heater is not working because setting temperature is reached.
  4. Few hours later, check the water temperature with an accurate thermometer. If needed, compensated the temperature by turning the temperature control dial as required.
